Root Canal Treatment Fun Fact
The dental pulp is packed with nerves and blood vessels. When you have a pulpal infection, you might feel pain. If this pain subsides, don’t be fooled into thinking the infection is gone. As the pulp begins to die, the pain often disappears. In fact, some pulp may even ‘die’ without causing pain. 
However, other symptoms may soon follow. As the bacteria travels through the roots, you may experience oozing pus or facial swelling. 
Treatment outcomes are often best the sooner the infection is treated, so don’t delay your treatment simply because you don’t feel pain!
