Dr Dennis Heng graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore and was on the Dean’s List during his course of study. Upon graduating, Dr Heng served at various public institutions such the polyclinics, National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital where he became well versed in treatments such as crowns, dentures, root canal treatment and oral surgery.

Dr Heng believes that dentistry is more than just about dental treatment in the clinic, and he has gone on to pursue further studies in the field of forensic dentistry. Upon recently completing his Masters from the University of Dundee, he is currently serving as a visiting consultant to the Health Sciences Authority as a forensic dentist. He has also been on multiple overseas dental mission trips to Cambodia and the Phillippines, providing dental care and oral health education to the local communities.

Dr Heng firmly believes in empowering his patients to take charge of their oral health and strives to provide the required knowledge and tools to his patients through open communication and active feedback. Dr Heng enjoys treating patients of all ages and strives to help all patients overcome their fear of dental treatment, as he is acutely aware of how daunting it can be to be in the dental chair. As a testament to providing quality treatment and a positive treatment experience, he was awarded the Singapore Health Quality Service Award during his time in public service.
