Dental sealants
Have you heard of dental fissure sealants? Not sure if it is beneficial for your child or yourself? Here’s a study that explores more on the topic 
Dental sealants were introduced to help prevent dental caries, mainly in the pits and fissures of occlusal tooth surfaces.
A study found evidence that resin-based sealants reduced caries by between 11% and 51% compared to no sealant, when measured at 24 months. Similar benefit was seen at timepoints up to 48 months.
